My wood has traveled the world, carried in crates filled with goods and fruits.
It has passed through ports, airports, and markets, exchanging hands and crossing roads, until it finally came to rest, forming this very box.
And the rug I wear on my head has a journey of its own…
It began with shepherds in the Barz mountains, who gathered wool from their flocks. Then, skillful hands of women wove it into intricate patterns, telling stories of the earth and sky. Carried on the backs of mules, it wound through narrow alleys, making its way from bustling souks to the grand halls of palaces and hotels, bearing witness to the passage of time and the shifting of ages.
Yet time does not erase beauty—it reshapes it. That very rug, once worn and frayed, was revived by the skilled artisans of “The Studio” breathing new life into it so it could once again grace my wooden form.
The rug and I have seen much, journeyed far, and changed in many ways. And now, here we are in your hands, wondering: what will we hold next?
